Story here.

He was 83, working till the end. A rich, wonderful life, with fans, beloved family, opportunities, and the knowledge that he'd created a character that took on a life of its on and will probably live on. But...damn.

:(

Dedicated Trekkie here. I'm trying to keep back the tears at work. ;_;

Thirty years of chain-smoking. Sorry, Mr Spock, that is not... logical.

"He's DEAD, Jim! Cute, though..."
"He's DEAD, Jim! You grab his wallet; I'll go through his pockets."
"FUCK YOU, FUNNY EARS!" "You have become irrational, Captain."

EDIT: A few more:

He's dead Jim. Grab his tricorder. I'll get his watch.
He's dead, Jim. Kick him if you don't believe me.
He's DEAD, Jim. Tell the Klingons that dinner is served.

I don't think I've ever watched a full episode of Trek, but he was a good guy:

Leonard (Nimoy, Mr. Spock) was always kind of unapproachable. But a very good man. Sound ethics and a good sense of morality.

How so?

When it came to the attention of the cast that there was a disparity in pay in that George and I were getting the same pay but Nichelle was not getting as much, I took it to Leonard and he took it to the front office and they corrected that.

He was sort of the captain, then?

On that issue, he was. You could count on Leonard for that kind of thing.

As long as Sheldon has that DNA, we can always clone him back to life.

To finally go where from no one ever comes back...
To sadly pass to the place of no return…

I feel I should be splitting an infinitive but none seem fitting…

to split infinitely?

That's exactly what my wife said! And I agreed.

I loved his voice when he narrated any program, and recognized it from his Spock character.

When I have a problem, I just ask myself, "What would Spock do?" I do that and
problem solved.
