Ringtones: Good Grief!

Mine is set to "stun".

Actually mine has a transylvanian theme. The first time it went off, I didn't realize it was me, I kept looking around wondering who the idiot was that wouldn't answer their phone:rolleyes:

when things at home drive me crazy, i change my phone ring to
The Adams Family tone. they seem to get the hint. ;)

Like Lauren's, mine (when I had one in the UK) was always set to vibrate with no ring tone. I think cantdog must be lucky that people aren't trying to get in touch with him all the time. I used to get called by my friends setting up evenings out at least 4 or 5 times a day.

Paul: "What are we doing tonight?"
Me: "Dunno, wanna go to the pub?"
Paul: "Sure, you wanna call Bill and I'll call Jen and see if she and Bob want to come?"

So, I'd call Bill and talk to him, and then I'd get another call from Paul telling me that Jen had said that she and Bob were coming, and then I'd get a call from Jen asking me what time we were meeting, because she forgot to ask Paul, etc etc etc - It goes on and on..

Bill might call me back and say 'Hey, do you want to invite Susan?'... And I'd say sure, call her and invite her.. And then Susan would call me (or Paul) to confirm everything that Bill had told her...

And that's just arranging for 5 friends to go to the pub, and a gathering of only 5 was very rare in my social life back in the UK. Usually there'd be more like 10 people hanging out together.

Also, that's just the arranging part.. That doesn't include the 'when you're at the pub' part..

"I thought you said Bill was coming."
"He said he was coming."
"He's like a half hour late, give his mobile a call, see if he's still gonna make it."

Oh yes, my mobile was constantly buzzing.

The phone I had allowed you to program your own ring tone in though, and as a musician, I happily programmed a few of my own tunes, or popular tunes in there. I don't need to pay for no stinking download ;)

My best friend from the UK has his general ring tone set to the Airwolf theme - The ring tone for his fiancee was John Williams' Darth Vader theme march from Star Wars. She never knew that ;)
