Thanks guys! In looking through my rings, I could see that many of them had a texture to them as in sometimes the part that goes behind the finger was bumpy or had small twists. I opted not to wear one of those. The one I put on is a very thin, smooth gold band with a few very tiny stones where the top of the finger is. When I run it across a bony area, I can feel it but it's not unpleasant. When I run it across a fleshier area, I can't feel it at all. I am also sitting here like a damned fool, giving a hand job to the air. I realize that I tend to use my fingertips more than anything else. So I think I'm good!
