It's a real bitch trying to research a story based in Richmond Virginia, when you are stuck here in New Zealand with the worlds slowest dial up connection. Is there anyone in the hangout that lives in Richmond, or has a handy knowledge of Richmond? If there is and you are willing to spend a little time chatting, I would appreciate the help.

Oh and if you're wondering why I based my story a gazillion miles from home, the answer is I wanted a real challenge. It is definitely that.

Hmmmmmmmm...I used to reconcile the general ledger entries for the ATM deposits made at a specific bank in Richmond, VA. Will that experience help?

You might pick up the book Southern Cross by Patricia Cornwell. If I recall, it takes place in Richmond and there's quite a bit of description in it.

I know a Virgina Richmond, whose father Miles Richmond was one of the founders of the Ronda Arts Movement in the 1950's. Their story has all the ingredients of a Lit. story. Now if you want help with that...
