Who else gets afflicted
With bouts of this?
It sometimes feels inflicted
Sometimes I shout in bliss!

I'm in its grip
Nowhere to hide
Must let it rip
Can't fight the tide

This madness overwhelms me
And I am utterly alone
I seek a guide to helm me
So I don't start throwing stones!

 x 2

This rhyme commission...
The rhyming sliming my
Words into submission
Makes me want to cry

 x 3

Wait! I am learning to allow
I need just to ride this tide
So this is my new vow
I will just abide...now.

:rose:

The inner voice that guides
Is speaking softy now
"Just ride the tides, poppy...
No need to plow and howl."

:) :rose:

The panic starts to calm
This inner voice of mine
A soothing balm
Like cherry almond wine

Sublime!

:rose: :)

I breathe...a little sigh
The rhyming seems to subside
The tide makes for a new way
I need not collide with words.

Phew...that was close to utter madness!

:D

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh....
It is done.
I can go on free of the rhyme.
At least for a..........moment or so.

hee hee!

That was FUN!

:catroar:

If to rhyme is no crime
Look at my sig in time
The poetry - all I wrote
Is rhyming every note

Og

To rhyme is no crime
Almost all of the time
I rhyme.

Tis when it grips me,
Nips at my free that
It worries me...steals
my glee....

Hello, fellow rhymer, Og!
:rose:

This thread was quite fun to do today!
