Rhyme Time

Ted's bed and Hal's pals; the recipe for a night of delight.

Give me death,
Give me life,
Give me your hand,
Make me your wife.

Office Politics

Make me scream, make me sigh,
Make me dream, and question why
I surrendered to your charms
when I fell into your arms.
I saw my boss' askance glance
when you led me in a dance.
He saw grace, and he saw style;
gallantry, when, truthfully, all the while
it was you who tripped me up
causing me to drop that cup.
You say you wanted to meet me
and weren't prepared to wait and see
if I'd sit at the negotiating table.
Now with this wet t-shirt look I will not be able.
You're very smart, I'll hand you that.
Now I believe all the office chat
That you'll advance your career by any means
and have been involved in these kinds of scenes.
I should warn you of one thing though
This time you over-played, and so
I'm sure this vote has gone my way
and I'll be named a Partner this day.
For unlike you, I saw the looks of lust
when that roomful of men saw my bust.
So was it my subtle strategy of no bra?
Or do I owe you the biggest "Ta!"

I thought of you often while trying to rhyme
I hoped you'd come and spend some time.

Seems like just a minute since I arose from bed;

Must've been an hour or more...my laptop's nigh dead...:(

Time goes by quickly when you're having fun
Dead laptop batteries tell me that my time on Lit is done. :D

I watched her fall through the sky
All the while trying to fly
The inevitable fall from grace
Satisfying, the look on your face
Oh how I hope you hurt
When you smack the dirt
Hoping the guilt, mixes the pain
As you play all your games
Hoping that in the end
You never love again
