RFK Jr. for HHS Secretary - Is this the dumbest timeline yet?

He’s nuttier than squirrel poop.
Off-topic, but I once wrote a letter to the editor of the local newspaper that included the line "nuttier than a squirrel turd". The editors changed my verbiage (CENSORSHIP!) to "nuttier than a squirrel dropping".

With the benefit of hindsight, I now think that was the right thing to do.

At what point does the doubling of MEASLES in Texas and New Mexico (?) become a clear scientific PROOF that vaccinations are at least helpful???????????????????????? Sooner or later this will expand to where there is herd immunity but getting to herd immunity for the kids in that area will continue EXPONENTIALLY.... just like Covid did! THAT was scary fucking math. I did NOT share the numbers with my classes at the time of Covid, but that data was within our curriculum. Good thing, because even here there were some closet Trumplikkkans ready to complain. I kept wondering at what point the 'rump administration would get worried. Losses equal to Viet Nam? 100,000? WW2? Civil War?? Spanish Flu??? Nope!
They still take no responsibility. Instead the simplest response that WORKED with the Spanish Flu by using masks and reducing public interaction was POLITICIZED. THAT despite the fact the 'rump's own GRANDFATHER died from the Spanish Flu.

Will Covid be the last World Wide Pandemic?????????? Fuck NO!!
Hell, we aren't watching or helping to eradicate outbreaks of EBOLA now.
It's ok. The OLIGARCHS will survive!!

RFK was running for president. He had some followers. Trump wanted to fold those into his own coalition, so he offered RFK a Cabinet post -- the one suited to his primary field of interest.

That's the whole story. Trump didn't think ahead to what RFK might do at the head of HHS, and almost certainly did not at all care.

A remark made in 2021, one the actual experts say is just WRONG, resurfaces after brain-worm man fails to correct it even now:

Angela Alsobrooks (D-Md.) brought up a comment that Kennedy once made about vaccinations and the Black community.

In 2021, Kennedy had said, “We should not be giving Black people the same vaccine schedule that’s given to whites, because their immune system is better than ours.”

Alsobrooks asked Kennedy to explain what he meant by that remark, and he went on to reference a “series of studies” while saying research shows that “Blacks need fewer antigens.” (For the record, experts say that this is not true.)

“Right now, how vaccine schedules are tailored is based on things like your age, your exposure risk, if you have other chronic underlying health conditions ― but race isn’t one of them, and there isn’t research that suggests that it should be,” Joel Bervell, a recent medical graduate and medical myth-buster on social media, told HuffPost.

Anyone getting sick of all this "transparency" yet? ;)

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. posted a document Friday proposing to strip public participation from much of the business his department conducts. The move comes during a time of major upheaval across federal health agencies, and as the public waits to see how Kennedy will enact his pledge of “radical transparency” at the department.

No but I'm sure we all will as we drift to becoming a third world country
