Reviving old threads?

Yeah, HT rocks.

Apart from a few attention-seeking delusional nutbags like the one below. Here's how you deal with it:

Did you bother to read the part about with the intent of disrupting the forum?
Of course you didn't. Youre so goddamned anal you love even half no-nos. I bet a lumberjack couldn't pound an icepick up your ass.

Do you ever read that part before you start shitting all over the forums like a diarrhoea infested maggot? :D

Apart from disruption (quarrels is what I assume Laurel has in mind) old threads have potential to nip new queries in their buds. I shit upon the control issues you and FIREBREEZE are compelled to wallow in. You and she remind me of pigs in shit.

Don't answer questions that are more than a week or so old, and don't answer questions that have already been answered. Apply a bit of common sense and read a thread thoroughly and don't duplicate responses or reply to a poster that hasn't been around for years.

Go ahead and revive old threads when a dated or late response doesn't matter -- old game/humor threads, for example; the forums don't need a half-dozen joke threads or "humorous consecutive thread titles," for example.

Unless of course you are Pilot, then go ahead and answer questions that have already been answered and add any irrelevant information you wish. After all, we have all found pilot to be irrelevant and a legend in his own mind.

Sorry, just couldn't help myself.

You Fucktard. You don't even know what you're talking about, do you? Always trying to be the expert when you're anything but that.

There's a sticky library for AH, How-To and BDSM forums where the discussion and general how-to questions crop up. How many people read that? Despite their presence, you see many questions that have been asked to death.

Despite having been here for soooo many years, you're still the same -- A Brain-dead Retard.

Get a life.

Oh wait, who am I kidding?

Oh dear... can't we all just get along? Silly question, I know...

Sorry Bard, the post in the sticky didn't seem relevant because I've recently seen some posters receive snark for following the guidelines. I figured people who are currently active posters (and likely to give out snark) would be the best to clarify with. And I've received much more thorough answers than in the sticky, so despite the thread devolving into a pissing match, it's been clarifying for me. Thanks for being patient. :rose:

Eh....I meant that very few are actually patient enough to go through the sticky Library. Usually the extremely-shy-to-post-a-thread or don't-want -anyone's-help type of person. You'll find some topics outdated or irrelevant as compared to 2015. There's no point of making a sticky Library, IMO. It's just...there. People can look it up if they want to.

You're free to make new threads on any topic you want. I wasn't saying anything about it anyway.

Sorry about the pissing match, though. I'll behave. ;)
