He was doing it again.

Dammit, Bill, you really need to grow up a little.

But the thought only made him shift his gaze momentarily to look out at the clear water of the Mediterranean before returning his attention to the rather striking pink of the young girl's bikini, which stood out even among the other swim costumes on the gravelly beach.

Of course, it wasn't the suit as such that really made the view interesting. Bill really had no clue how bikinis were sized, but in his mind, this particular girl's measurements fell into the category of "more than a handful", which wasn't usually his preference, but on her it... worked.

He could just imagine the wonderful things that gravity would do, should the teen's top ever chance to come undone.

Wait... teen?

Actually, yes. Probably.

And dammit, he was still looking at her breasts as though he were a teen himself.

Of all the...

Bill swallowed and, with a deliberate effort, looked up at the girl's face. Because she'd been walking in his general direction, and now she was close enough to hear him easily, should he say anything, and there was nothing to do except the obvious: Pretend that she hadn't just caught him staring, and hope that his lechery hadn't caused offense or even fear.

Though she didn't seem afraid.

"Buon giorno, Signorina!" he said as cheerfully as he could manage, still fighting not to let his focus dip below her neckline once again.

Height: 5'4
Hair: Brunette and long
Build: Cuvry but athletic.

Bella was minding her own business, enjoying a day at the beach. Which she frequently visited as she didn't live far away. Falling in love with this place three years ago and took the leap and moved! Studying Italian day and night to perfection. Today was a gorgeous day as she walked along the water.

"Buongiorno signore."she said. Smiling as she looked to the man in front of her. "
È una giornata meravigliosa, non credi."she said. Bella couldn't help but smile at him.

Bill smiled and agreed that it was a marvelous day.

Truth to tell, as long as you liked warm, sunny weather, rocky cliffs that plunged into clear water, and outdoor cafes, most days in Amalfi qualified as marvelous. That was, after all, why he'd moved there a number of years before, after cashing out of the IT company he'd built in the states.

"I'm Bill, by the way," he continued, still speaking Italian. "Pardon me for interrupting your walk."

He added the last part in order to give her a graceful exit from a conversation with a strange man who was obviously old enough to be her father.

At least she didn't seem to have taken offense at his staring. Perhaps being stared at was par for the course for her, with that figure.

[//QUOTE]Bella held her hand out to him, "Isabella but call me Bella." Her smile got bigger after he shook her hand. "Care to accompany me on my walk?"she asked in Italian. Hoping he would say yes as she was curious about him. Bella wouldn't mind the company and after all she found him attractive.

Tucking some hair behind her ear as she waited for his answer. Hoping she didn't come off strong as she didn't want him to feel uncomfortable. Tuning the other beachgoers out as her focus was on Bill.

Bill felt his pulse quicken even as he told himself not to be a fool. He knew how he had to look to Isabella: A kindly older man; someone so far past her age that it would not even occur to her to think of him in a romantic way.

Then, abruptly there was an image in his mind: Another young girl, in another bikini, on another day, much like this one. He remembered the gentleness with which he'd helped her out of the bikini, and the long day and evening that had followed. He remembered wishing that she hadn't had to say goodbye.

Smiling, he met the girl's eyes. "Of course, I'd be happy to, Bella," he replied.

"Were you going anywhere in particular? If you continue in this direction, we'll pass my house, then come to the cliffs, in a few minutes. Or there's also a good cafe, if we take the path just past those rocks and walk a little way up from the beach."

"I would say the cliffs but I have a fear of heights. I was going to grab my things and head to the cafe."she said. Smiling as she lead him over to a bright colored towel and shook it out. Grabbing her bag before she linked her arm with his. "Lead the way?"she said.

"Now your house must have some amazing views if it up on the cliffs. I have a tiny view from my apartment."she said. Bella stayed close to Bill as they walked in the sand. She would wait until they got to the cafe to ask anymore questions.

"The cliffs are fine if you just walk along the rocks at their base," Bill replied. "Some of the best swimming spots are there: Places where you can lie on a flat rock, then step into two or three feet of water when you want to cool off. Although there are some even better spots you can get to if you have a boat."

"As for the view from my house, I have to admit I'm very lucky. My terrace looks out over the ocean, but you can't see the beach because of the trees on the hillside. Sometimes it really does feel like I'm in my own world up there."

He took a longish step across a gap between two rocks, turning and offering his hand to assist her in crossing the same gap, even though she obviously didn't really need the help.

Bella listened carefully as they walk and slightly jealous of his house. Sounded like he had his own little world away from everything. Taking his hand before he help her over the gap. "It sounds lovely....I wish I had a place like that. Though I am saving as I just moved here not long ago."she said. Following carefully as she tighten the grip on his hand. "I have a small studio apartment with a small balcony....it's not much but it is cozy for sure."she said.

Another gap was coming up and Bella waited for Bill to cross first. Taking his hand once more as he helped her. Though her foot slipped causing her to end up in his arms! Soon she looked up and was staring into his eyes.

Bella slipped.

She tried to compensate by pushing off hard with her rear foot, which allowed her to clear the gap without falling because Bill had her hand, but also forced him to gather her into his arms in order to keep them both from going down.

They stood recovering for a long moment, with Bill keenly aware of his arm around Bella's back, as well as her bikini-clad breasts pressed against his chest.

When she looked up and their eyes met, he felt an almost magnetic pull. It took a genuine effort of will on his part to keep from bending to kiss the young girl's face.

"Are you alright?" he asked, finally managing to draw apart from her, then realized he'd spoken in English.

Bella soon nodded her head though loving how he was holding her close. Noticing that he also spoke English before she responded in English, "Yes, I am and thank you." Smiling as she straightened up before taking his hand again. Following him before she paused to take in the view.

She stood in awe before her hand slipped from his. He could see the smile though it disappeared once she realized how high up they were. Taking a step back as she began to become nervous.

Bill wasn't surprised that Bella had answered him in English: It was quite common for Italians in her generation to learn at least some English in school, and often outside of school as well, given the importance of tourism in Italy.

What did surprise him was her apparently complete lack of an accent. He was used to hearing non-native English speakers, and very few came close to the perfection that Bella had just demonstrated.

Abruptly he realized that she was looking a little nervous, facing back the way they'd come as they started to ascend the hillside.

"Uh, are you alright?" he queried, again using Italian. "This path leads to the cafe: It's a little faster than taking the stairs at the end of the beach. But it's a little steeper, too."

"Would you prefer to use the stairs?"

Bella soon snapped out of her thoughts. "Can we take the stairs?"she asked in Italian. It would calm her nerves if they choose the other route. "I don't mind if it takes us longer...I have a fear of heights."she said. She was embarrassed as she felt like a child. Hoping she didn't make a fool of herself now.

"It's alright if you choose to continue this way....I'll take the stairs and meet you."she said. Trying to show him it was okay if he didn't want to take the stairs. Not wanting him to be forced to do something he didn't want to.

"Of course I'll walk with you, Bella," Bill declared. "My apologies: You mentioned your fear of heights. I should have thought more carefully and not chosen this path to begin with."

They retraced their steps back down to the beach, then walked to the stairs. Soon they were ascending towards the cafe, leaving the shoreline behind for the moment.

"I almost forgot to mention," Bill began, 'your English is incredible."

"I mean, I'm sure you can tell by my accent that I'm not from Italy - I'm American, actually - but if I were in America and I heard you speaking English, there's no chance I would ever guess you were Italian!"

Bella smiled as they made they way back down and to the stairs. She chuckled from his words as she was American too. "I am American as well."she spoke in English. That smile returned to her face as she took his hand.

"I move here a few months ago....I feel in love during a vacation three years ago."she said. Bella pointed to the cafe as they were getting closer. "Some gelato will be nice."she said.

Bill was even more amazed to learn that Bella was an American expatriate like himself, and told her so.

Something else, which he chose not to remark on, was that she had taken his hand again; this time with no danger of falling to precipitate the action.

As they reached a table, he pulled out a chair for her, then sat down himself. While they waited for a waiter to spot them, Bill placed his hand on the table with deliberate nonchalance, wondering if Bella would still be inclined to take it while they were sitting down, or if she had simply wanted the support while they were walking.

"Do you have a favorite flavor of gelato?" he asked her.

Once they reached the cafe, Bella took a seat on the chair he pulled out. Setting her back down by her feet. Quietly she took his hand again after he called the waiter over. "That is hard as this cafe has some of the best. I would have to say either lemon or raspberry."she said.

Smiling as she scoot her chair closer to him before the waiter walked up. Greeting him before order herself a water and some raspberry gelato. Soon looking to Bill as she was curious as to what he would order. Patiently waiting before she spoke, "I am curious...why did you move here?"

"I fell in love with it," he answered. "The climate, the coastline, the lifestyle; all of it. I mean, look around: It's maybe 85 degrees out, we're sitting and waiting for our orders of gelato, and the ocean is a stone's throw that way." He waved his hand toward the stairs that lead back to the beach.

"That's not even mentioning the coffee," he continued. "Or," he added, smiling, "the company."

"What about you?"

Her smile got bigger as he hinted at her company. "The scenery and lifestyle is what sold me. I don't miss the big city life."she said. The waiter soon brought their order and Bella took a sip of her water. Taking a spoonful before eating it and soon offer some to Bill. "I also feel at home here more than I did back in the states. I miss a few friends but I made new ones here."she said.

Noticing he had some gelato on his face, Bella grabbed a napkin and lean in. Cleaning his face though they were face to face again. Once again she got lost in his eyes.

Bill reached up and took Bella's hand as she started to draw it back. Lacing his fingers together with hers, he met her eyes; hoping, yet afraid to hope that she was not just being friendly to a kind stranger.

"Are you sure you don't mind spending this much time with an old man from the beach?" he asked, trying to keep his tone light, but not succeeding very well.

Bella smiled and shook her head. "Old man? I say you look good for your age then. I don't Iike your company."she said. Eating some more of Gelato and sharing it. Bella really didn't mind Bill at all otherwise she would've walked away on the beach.

Giving his hand a reassuring squeeze and scooted closer. She had a bit of Gelato on her lips though. "How old are you if you don't mind me asking."she said.

"I'm forty-six," he told her, with their faces just inches away from each other. "And unless I'm mistaken, that makes me more than twice as old as you."

Bella smiled as she didn't mind the age gap between them. "In fact you are...I'm twenty-five."she said. Biting her bottom lip as their faces were inches away from each other. Desperately wanting to pull him into a kiss.

"That's actually a little more than half my age," he teased.

"Maybe I'm not such a dirty old man after all."

Then he kissed her.

Bella soon pulled him closer as they kissed. He would taste the sweet Gelato on her lips. After they broke the kiss, Bella kept him close and nuzzled his neck. "Far from dirty old man."she said.

"Maybe I'm not dirty, but you have gelato on your mouth," he replied.

"Maybe you should take a shower."
