Yup, It's sunday again and I'm saying that this time I'm comin home smilin! The Lions can beat the Vikings! All that needs to happen is this:
Randy Moss decides he "don't feel like playing, after all, it's only Detroit".
Chris Carter breaks hand socking Randy Moss for his refusal to play
Daunte Culpepper starts (not knocking Daunte here, but the Lions have a history of getting beat realllllly badly by unheard of back up quarterbacks)
Barry Sanders un-retires, effective today (always at his best against Minnesota)
Mike McMahon is the second coming of.............well, uhhhh, lets just say he's not Charlie Batch, Scott Mitchell, Eric Kramer, Rodney Peete, or Andre Ware
or Stoney Case, Frank Reich, or Dave Krieg, for that matter
In all seriousness though, I know it's too early to really know for sure, but I think this kid is gonna be good. Let us Lions fans hope that he doesnt get ruined by their shoddy offensive line before he has a chance to develop into the QB I think he can be. He has displayed a knack for getting out of touble in the pocket with his quick feet. Another thing that impressed me about him is his ability to throw on the run, across the field, with accuracy, and velocity. There is no doubt in my mind he has an NFL arm.
