As I approach my 500th post after almost a year here, I feel it's time to reflect on how far along life's highway some of us have come.
Remember the thrill when, after 25 (HAH!) posts, we lost our virginity? All those hours fretting over what LOL meant? And AV?
Literotica keeps a full history of every post by every user. Here's my first post ever:
Unless this is a punchline of a very strange joke:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: query() in /home/literot/literoticanet/literotica/newclasses/classMember.php on line 137
I'd guess that it's funny-not-so-funny.
I get it on page http://members.literotica.com/members/login.php
Can you detect the latent wit? The love of light-hearted word-play that would emerge in the later posts? Neither can I.
Here's a couple more first posts from some really seasoned pros, all with over 1,000 posts. Can you guess whose they are?

I don't like whips and that sort of business at all myself. Had a guy try it on me once, it ended very badly. Hayuhtun. I loved the story. The writing did it for me, it was very good. Definately hope there will be more

Hello World! Gosh, I sure am Shy. This is my *blush* First time. Don't tell anyone. I just wanted to drop a line, see if anything bites. Thanks for wasting 5 seconds on me
Please forgive me if i mess up as this is my first posting.

Perhaps you could employ the feelings that these words evoke in you to your advantage. If distaste is foremost in writing the word 'bloke', make good use of it. Turn it around and 'invent' yourself a character who fits the mould in your mind of a 'bloke'. Store the character away for a future story.
If writing or thinking stirs an emotion, then no matter what the emotion, shouldn't it be usable?
