Like Matriarch, my experience of UK CVs is unlikely to be transferrable to the US.

That is a pity, because I have seen thousands of them, good and bad, and have helped write dozens for other people.

One or two things might be useful...

1. Tailor the resume to the job being sought. If they want people with knowledge of pussys with a left hand spiral thread, imply (if you can't actually say) that you know a considerable amount about left hand threaded pussys.

2. It is a sales pitch. Do not include negatives. Don't say 'I can't' or 'I have no experience of...' The purpose of the resume is to get you selected out of the heap of resumes to go further in the recruitment process. Leave out questions you can't answer and expand on ones you can.

3. Research the employer through public data sources. Make your resume to fit their strengths.
