I am so very saddened by his passing. I cannot tell you just how much love millions of people have for this incredibly funny and talented man, including myself. He was one of my personal favorites.

Depression can be so debilitating, I feel just incredibly sad that it could have been a factor contributing to his (apparent) suicide. His noted battle with drug addiction has been a point of contention as well.

Rest in peace, Robin, and may your demons be laid to rest with you.

Today is a sad day indeed...I will miss him terribly...I think my favorite Robin Williams moment was his Inside The Actor's Studio interview...The extended version where he just got off on a tangent and let his inner light shine...I laughed, I cried, I listened, and I learned from that two hours of television miracle...

I ran around for a year retelling the joke, "Are your parents retarded? Because you sure are special..." after I heard him tell it during the Weapons of Self Destruction stand-up show...He turned pain into humor and I even had a crush on the guy...He was a brilliant mind and a comedic force of nature...The world lost someone truly special today...

The hardest death I've personally dealt with of someone I never met or knew. :(
I still remember going to see Mrs. Doubtfire before Christmas when I was 12 and he instantly became my favorite comedian ever.

Since I never watch the news this is a bit of a shock seeing this here. Robin is a tremendous personality and one of my fav movies of his has always been "What Dreams May Come".

Such sad news. A truly unique man, and seemed to be such a giving soul too. Very sad indeed.

I remember one time watching Oprah and she said how she prepares for all her guests except Robin Williams, because even if you give him the questions you will ask, he will go off on a different track! LOL

It says that he has 4 films that are due to be released over the next year. Those will be very bittersweet to watch.

oh yes he was so quick witted and spontaneous.

Another great movie that comes to mind is Bicentennial Man

Very sad, he was a great guy. Loved all his movies, shows, etc. Prayers for his family.:rose:
