Is it possible to respond to feedback (not comments on my story) without revealing my email address (currently using my personal email for this site) or will I need to set up a separate email?

I don't think so. I believe the feedback email even says your email address will be revealed if you reply.

At any rate, why not just set up a new account for your Lit-related stuff? If you use Gmail, you can even have that email sent through to your primary address and reply to it with your "lit" address. I have email accounts for all sorts of things, and that's what I do.

Yep, that's how I handle it.

One note of warning: I got a bit of a shock when my "anonymous" Gmail account was friended on G+ by a couple of family members. Because I'd sent email from my Lit Gmail to my regular Gmail - even though the regular account isn't on G+ - apparently it identified a second-degree connection and recommended the account to them.

I wasn't very happy about this.

Hmm. It's good to know G+ can be just as invasive as Facebook!

I'm not very familiar with G+ and I know the 'damage' is already done, but maybe there's some way to disallow it getting into your email/contacts and/or suggest non-primary connections? The main feature G+ has been pushing is compartmentalization of work, family, friends, interests, etc., right? It'd be something interesting to ask on the support forums and/or submit to tech support!

It'd be nice, but after the idiocy they displayed over the whole 'real name' thing (because nobody EVER has reason to need anonymity, nosirree) I suspect this isn't going to be a high priority for them.

By my understanding they don't get info on WHY that account has been recommended to them, so probably the main thing is to make sure the account name isn't going to give much away if they Google it/etc. So don't use an account name that matches your Lit profile name and don't call it something like "bobwritesporn"...
