Perdita, your AV and siggie are a colourful joy. Beautiful!
Thank you, Rain. The AV photo is mine (I have others to post during the season). As for subject matter, yours is more beautiful, that smile...

Joy in the new year to you,

Perdita

Well done indeed. You've got a beautiful eye for color and arrangment.

One hates to be crass, but have you anything available commercially?

To be a better person. Try to heal myself on the inside, because that seems to be getting progressively worse.

For me it's to find my dream. So far it's to be an English teacher. That's mainly because of you guys here. I love to write and read, but I want to teach. I love to enlighten others and show something new to someone. Second, to be healthier. I have a terrible diet and I want to be better at that. I also want to work out more and make myself look a bit better. My writting I wish to impove, and that shall come with practice. Other than that, I've already become the person I wanted to be. The kind caring person, that in despite of the harsh world, still loves and sends care and hopes that one day, all will be better for everyone.

To save money and not spend it as soon as it hits my pocket...

To continue to grow as a person and learn as much about myself as I can...

To be the best mother I can be...

To be 'LAST' on another thread :p

Wow Pear now you're blitzing me with those flowers. Sensational! I'm really looking forward to the rest of the season now. And joy to you too, copious, overflowing armfuls of the stuff.

I resolve to make my education work for me (DAMNIT!)
to find a job i enjoy or atleast a steady job
to help my SO through college
to help my daughter through college and my other through grade school and the other to potty train. (hope, diapers are so blase dahlink)
to enjoy and revel in the love i have found
to take nothing for granted
to make a move to the south
ok ok.. to work on the swearing...but but but...

I resolve-
to find a better job
to stop being such a procrastinator
to get myself a boyfriend
to stop being so nice to everyone and learn to stand up for myself
to try being not as shy

I resolve:

To find a career position that utilizes my strengths rather than one that forces me to excel at a weakness.

To continue to improve my physical wellness.

To find a way to fight through my bouts with writer's block and then go back and edit later.

To make sure the people I love know how much I love them.

Perhaps that's a good thing. Yeats says that we grow and prosper best when we embrace that which is most the opposite of ourselves. It's worth some thought, at least -
