Resizing Icons

Does anyone know how I can resize an .ico file? I've tried the traditional image editing software (Photoshop, Paintshop Pro) to no avail. I even downloaded a shareware program called "Easy Icon Maker", however that program offers no "resizing" options for an existing file.

Help?

You can use the freebie "IrfanView" available from tucows.com and other places.

You can open them in there, size or re-size and then save them as "ico"s again.

If you have any trouble working with them as "ico"s, change them to jpg or gif's then do the re-sizing, then save them as ico's again.
