I take it you're trying to resize an animated GIF? If so, that requires an animation editing program. Irfanview can display animated GIFs, but can only edit the first frame.

GIFWorks is one free program that can do the job, but I'm told that it's only just barely adequate.

JASC software ( www.jasc.com ) the makers of Paint Shop Pro also make Animation Shop which is functional, but a bit cumbersome for my tastes.


Generally I just avoid trying to resize animations because of the hassle.

Yes, it is an animated GIF.
With irfanview, it stopped the animation and resized the first frame just like you said.
I normally don't bother with GIF's at all but this animation is just too cute.
I'm gonna try the JASC software. Thanks for the tip Harold.
