Seeking advice....

Currently, I'm writing a couple of serials "by request" for some "extreme" kinky sex clubs. By "extreme", I mean heavy fetish clubs. (curiously, I'm not into what I've been writing about myself!!!!). Aside from maintaining a seperate website, I've been also submitting the stories to Literotica for a wider range of feedback.

The clubs are gay related, so I've been posting the stories under the 'gay stories' section of Literotica, particularly since the 'kinky' section of Literotica seems to be heterosexually dominated.

It's been an interesting result. Whilst those I'm targetting (through the seperate webpage promoted directly to these extreme kinky groups) have been sending endless amounts of positive feedback, most of the feedback I've been receiving from Literotica has been negative (including requests to stop posting such stories!). It's the few positive feedbacks I've been receiving that have kept me posting these stories on Literotica- as there is obviously a small audience accessing Literotica who aren't aware of the other kinky sex clubs that are promoting my stories to their members.

My question is this. Since the stories are kinky - should I be posting them under the 'kinky' section of Literotic rather than the 'gay' section? And if I do, will the gay readership not find them, thus missing the primary audience?

If you move them to the fetish section, then you will get requests to tell you to move them somewhere else. LOL!

I think you should leave them. However, you should probably follow my example and put Warning: Contains Water Sports etc! Or whatever kinky stuff you have in there on the header and the description.

I know it's a pain in the ass, and messes up the surprise but these things can squick people out and the added description will attract your intended audience.

It's an interesting thing...!

Hi Couture,

Thanks for the suggestion.

It's curious that the people who hate the stories enough to let me know are continuing to read each chapter (and then tell me again how much they hate it!!)

Also, as an example, one of the serials is called "Bio of a Bully" I would have thought such a title, along with the brief description would warn people that it may contain voilence. I guess not, and certainly not as much as that particular tale has. Hopefully those who love to hate it will take solace in the upcoming final chapter where the bad guy gets his just deserts!

Never mind. At least there is some people who are enjoying the stories enough on Literotica to tell me so too.

It will be interesting to see the reaction to my more mainstream erotic tale that is currently pending on Literotica called "Walter Pinge Has No Life".
