Someplace, I've tried everything. Best i've come up with is skip the egg wash, dunk in batter made from seasoned flour and milk, fry. The egg wash tastes icky to me on shrimp.

Of course =) How about fresh crepes (sorry, mine always come out a wee bit thick ) filled with homemade pumpkin-pecan butter and dusted with a li'l powdered sugar?

Or, if that doesn't appeal, I can sauté some bananas in butter and fill the crepes with bananas and nutella. YUM!
