Given that the management have more or less thrown this forum under a bus and that, presumably, it will now be visited increasingly rarely by anyone, I thought I might make one last plea for a bit of help from any artist who does look in... on the 'you never know' principle.

I'm one of the writers on here who do not actually submit stories. I don't want my stuff read by anyone barring myself and maybe a few others whom I trust and on whose opinions I place a value.

On the other hand I have always thought that my tales could benefit from the enrichment which only a well-produced and relevant image could add. If any talented artist might care, in this 'end of days' scenario which currently exists for artwork on Literotica, to offer his or her services, I would be hugely grateful. It would be a strictly private arrangement. I have tales of all kinds in my portfolio and it would be a pleasure to discuss the detail of what might be produced.

Kindly contact me via PM only. I shall not respond to messages put on the thread.

Ok, I know you won't answer me but my guess after a week is that you've had almost no offers and, If you have had a few, they're from time wasters who will pretend to be oh-so-interested and then disappear.

There are a lot of morons like that around.

Had the same thing happen, myself. The plain fact is that there were passing few real artists ever on this forum... and, of those, not many whose word was worth much.

The place has now been killed off in all but name.

Although I understand where you are coming from. You won't get any serious artist for free or unless your kink captures their imagination. I have done work for free, but they have to really have a kink Im also passionate about or an angle that gets me.

Just thought I'd bump the thread to say I've had zero luck with this. Got to chuckle at the whole experience, really.

I have had a couple of former artist-contributors to the board offer to help - and then vanish. Why do they do this? Totally shabby behaviour.

I am very prepared to disclose the usernames concerned if anyone would like to know (via PM)... and would be very happy to hear from anyone else about their own experience, names included.

Why don't you publish their names?

I see that you are posting and still searching. I would like to help, but following issues with illustrations and "AI" I am not allowed to post here. I can send it via email if you want to try that.

Giving your thread a merited bump - with a small plea in that direction on my own behalf!

You are spot on @annabellebrito. I've created fanart works (because - fan, duh) where the story (or audios and videos elsewhere) tickled and tingled my fancy (so to speak). Buuut - I was tickled and tingled because I could read the stories, listen to the audios, or watch the videos.

I'm only being practical here - with the barest of profiles @000zing and only a "thought" that a "well-produced" image would benefit your story, where's the upside for the artist to create this work...? Mind, you even indicated the image would be a private arrangement - excluded from the artist's portfolio even though they'd hold the copyright on it as a derivitive work...? 😐

Art creation (I don't regard AI as art, given it's dependence on textual inputs and trained datasets - I'll defend this assertion, too), like story craft, takes time. And there's no incentive to commit time to a wholly unknown endeavor. I understand this may sound harsh, yet it's reality - and likely the primary reason why no one's come forward.

As an aside, I'd suggest that this request is better placed on an art-centric site (e.g., Art Station, ArtUntamed, DeviantArt, Slushe, or Renderosity). Personally, I've never regarded Literotica as art-friendly (like the other sites) - even when illustrated stories were acceptable, and by its own admission, Literotica has always been focused on the written narrative 🤔

Why don't you publish their names?
Names of the people that were intrigued enough to answer the call but when they got to the point of actually reading the texts they were supposed to illustrate (I hope they did get to read them) they got bored to tears and realized that there was no way they would work to illustrate*that* for free? Or they found out that the story topic wasn't something they were even remotely interested in. Or there were themes in those stories that are prohibited in Lit and that's the real reason the stories are not published. Or one of other hundred reasons.

The OP will never put their names here because that will be an open invitation for them to explain what happened. And chances are this will be the end of the story.

Or... or... maybe, just maybe the OP was putting forward a polite and not unreasonable request... one which nobody was obliged in any sense whatsoever to answer...

... and then maybe, just maybe some of those who did answer behaved in the way described.

You never know... maybe, just maybe he was telling the truth, despite the best efforts of a certain thread contributor to imply otherwise for reasons best known to him or herself.

Stranger things have happened...

Strange things, indeed.

Here's a rough start of an idea that was not mine.
There were some elements that appealed.
As I have a little time, undisturbed (at the library!), I gave it a start.

A Milking Farm.

She's on top of some special whoremoan (heehee) feed, which promotes lactation and relaxation. "RELACTS®"
An extra side effect is arousal. well duh!

Obviously, not for everyone, a bit of a niche kink.

Depends on how many. One or two - sure. But if you had a few people answer your call and ALL of them disappeared without much explanation, that's a different story. I am sure you are telling the truth, there is not much maybe about it. But when multiple people react the same way to a story, usually the story is the problem, not the people. If it's a niche kink, chances of you finding an illustrator interested in the same kink without spelling out beforehand what it is are non-existent.

I don't illustrate for other people but I proofread from time to time. Learned the hard way that unless I can read other samples of someone's work plus the subject and ALL the themes of the new story are outlined in great detail, I am not coming anywhere near that.

true.
I am generally open to suggestions, but I've passed on many. Sometimes it is a matter of time, and more likely the issue of connection.
I will more likely to illustrate an idea/story that is "up my alley", so to speak. A shared kink. Though I have also drawn images which are far from what interests me, sexually, but piques my interest as a visual challenge or the like.

This recent one (above...and below) IS a kink of mine - milking, lactation, hucows. BUT it was presented as something non-consensual, which is not "my bag". So, I had to imagine a slightly different storyline - the woman is a volunteer and loves the entire scenario.

Yep. Visual erotic arts on this platform are effectively dead. Not supported or encouraged (in fact discouraged), which makes some sense as there is not a big audience and imagery is a server space sucking endeavor.
