I believe lust separates us from love. I believe God is love. I have experienced that love.

Hi everyone,

I started my first story in the SRP forum "A New Role For Mark". I set up a situation where the wife in the story is seeking a lover without leaving and/or hurting her husband.

Is that a realistic possibility or is it just a whacked out fantasy I'm indulging?
Well, there are these folk called "Swingers" who take on lovers without hurting each other all the time.

You need to give us more info for us to know if it's realistic. Are these two religious? How long have they been together? Why is the wife seeking a lover and is she going to be honest about it with her husband...or sneak around behind his back? Is the story about HOW she hurts him...or how she finds a way to have a lover without hurting him?

Plenty of men and women who never intend to leave their spouses have secret lovers. That's realistic. And plenty of men and women have lovers their spouses know about, and the marriage stays good. That really happens, too. Or don't you recall that funeral in France attended by both wife and mistress? Whether THIS situation is real or not is all in the details. What kind of woman she is? what kind of man he is? what kind of marriage and commitment so they have to each other? And, most especially, why does she want or need a lover?

Reality isn't in whether someone would do this and/or not want to leave or hurt her husband...but whether this woman in this relationship would do it and/or want that.
