Republicans pleaded with Americans to "give Trump a chance"

2016

“Give President-elect Trump a chance,” pleads New York Times's Nicholas Kristof

The country will survive, he says. Democrats shouldn’t copy Republicans’ die-hard
opposition to everything President Obama did from the start. (accept our hypocrisy!)

We can’t be sure of Donald Trump’s stances, anyway, the argument goes, and in the
areas where he’s most dangerous, aides can override him. (They did not over-ride Trump)

Kristof isn’t alone:

a chorus of voices saying that those in the streets already protesting a Trump presidency,
have acted too soon.

Trump has won, they say, and therefore has earned a reprieve. (He cheated, lied, and stole it.)

Democrats stuck to Democracy and law, and looked to our American legal system
and Constitution, to protect Democracy

“We owe him an open mind and the chance to lead,” Hillary Clinton said in her concession
speech the day after the election. President Obama echoed Clinton the following day after
a meeting with President-elect Donald Trump: “I believe it is important for all of us
regardless of party and regardless of political preferences, to now come together, work
together, to deal with the many challenges we face.” John Kasich, a staunch opponent
of Donald Trump through election day, said that he prayed for Trump and that he thinks
“as Americans, we all need to come together."

Expectations disappointed and abused, over and over again, for years-

In the animation and live-action film, "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" there is
a great deception taking place.

Judge Doom assumes the role of a living, breathing, flesh and blood, human being...

...and takes advantage of all of the priveleges, rights, and opportunities that are given
to human beings.

Judge Doom cannot fight against his own nature- he falls into making a mistake.
His true identity is revealed, and everyone is witness to the moment of his downfall.

Did Trump reveal his true self, this week ?

In the film, Pistol Packin' (Psychotic) Possum has found himself a "human suit."
A rubbery body and mask. A rubber monster suit, like Godzilla- Mighty Morphin
Power Rangers fought rubber suit monsters, and they continue to star in strange stories.
PBS recently featured a TV show explaining rubber suit monsters to children.
Rubbery clothing, that gave the illusion a three dimensional "real" person as inside
that disguise. Only one problem: low tech/no technology at all- Possum's real eyes
behind a pair of yellow tinted glasses. Eyes of a cartoon character. An evil, deranged,
criminal Psychotic cartoon!

What got Trump and (Psychotic) Possum into trouble, is their delusion that they could live
out their fantasy in the real world. As if the real world was their own, personal bubble.

Their self-talk,and protected, secret speech revealed everything, eventually.
They could not help themselves.

Trump never desired to become a real, live, president. He just wanted to wear the costume,
to disguise what he really is- a one dimensional cartoon of a human being.

The toon cannot be blamed, just a figment of imagination- the creators bear responsibility.
At one point Trump was an innocent child, but he lost his mother's guidance, and lost the
best defense against his evil father. His brothers and sisters were fighting their own battles,
to survive and remain whole, even though they had the advantage of having a mother during
their most tender and vulnerable formation of their characters. They, too, were dominated by
their father, when the mother was out of the picture. His older brother fought the evil, and
escaped- but he did not escape whole. His evil father found a way to rip at him. It caused his
death.

It is sad, that his father figures are evil and criminal, and he believes that evil and criminal
is the role that fate pressed upon him. He has become a cartoon of himself- The Bad Guy

But, America should not lose all her values to a monster, just because a small amount of
evil, selfish. greedy, people have found a use for a monster.

Trump: And Iran knows that, and they’ve been put on notice. If you fuck around with us,
if you do something bad to us, we are going to do things to you that have never been
done before.

Because if there is anything the right-wing evangelicals VALUE, it’s people
who keep their end of a bargain, right? People who keep their promises?
Just like Donald Trump.

More F**K in all media, from Trump

what Dr. Fauci said-

“I have been devoting almost full time on this — almost full time. I’m down at the White
House virtually every day with the task force. I’m connected by phone throughout the day
and into the night and when I say night, I’m talking twelve, one, two in the morning. I’m
not the only one. There’s a whole group of us that are doing that. It’s every single day. So
I can’t imagine that that under any circumstances that anybody could be doing more. I mean
obviously, we’re fighting a formidable enemy — this virus. This virus is a serious issue here.”

Trump's tech bros steal Dr. Fauci's words, and they no longer reflect the original meaning-

from the Washington Post-

In other words, the ad misleadingly clips Fauci’s comment and takes it out of context
especially because it sets it up with voice-over narration designed to make viewers
believe the popular Fauci is praising Trump.

After the ad asserts, “President Trump tackled the virus head on as leaders should,”
it follows with a clip of Fauci appearing to endorse that claim: “I can't imagine that
anybody could be doing more.”

Update:

After Fauci’s statement was issued and this fact check was published, Trump campaign
spokesman Tim Murtaugh defended the ad: ““These are Dr. Fauci’s own words.
The video is from a nationally broadcast television interview in which Dr. Fauci
was praising the work of the Trump Administration. The words spoken are accurate,
and directly from Dr. Fauci’s mouth.”

 Double down on a lie, after they have been caught ?

fauci is NOT happy. after spending decades of deliberately NOT endorsing a presidential candidate, so science gets to remain politically un-tainted), trump's team take his words out of context as if it shows he endorses trump. he's at least speaking out about it, loud and clear and is as close to losing it as i can imagine! he's trying very hard not to lose it, as he's a professional at heart.

I doubt that Kristopf is a Republican, but in any case, Trump wasted no time violating the Constitution with emoluments...as President-elect, before even taking office! He should have been impeached for that, not Ukraine, as soon as Democrats recaptured the House and Pelosi became Speaker.

There are a whole bunch of lines for impeachment in the Trump travesty. But, yes, I would go down all those lines and drive the man even crazier than he already is--and his sycophants (including he board Trumpettes) too.

Fauci Objects to Being Featured in Trump Campaign Ad Touting Covid Response:
My Comments ‘Taken Out of Context’

what Dr. Fauci said about the Trump tech bro's trick-

“In my nearly five decades of public service, I have never publicly endorsed any political
candidate. The comments attributed to me without my permission in the GOP campaign ad
were taken out of context from a broad statement I made months ago about the efforts of
federal public health officials.”

“Dr. Fauci has repeatedly said the Trump Administration did everything possible to save
lives,” Tim Murtaugh, director of communications for Trump’s campaign, said on Twitter
Sunday afternoon.

a creative contribution to coronavirus conversation-

cartoonist presents an illustration of Donald Trump

"The Entire Presidency Is a Superspreading Event"

cartoon version of Presiderp Trump, the coronavirus clown

American rubber clown nose replaced by the familiar ball-shaped
light blue model of the coronavirus complete with evenly distributed
red spikes

Trump's orange face paint is so thickly applied, it appears to be clay, that is drying out
and cracking under its own weight. Trump's face seems to be painted in jagged white
and orange stripes,

How much longer does he need, four, eight, twelve years ? No thanks.
