Republicans for Rape

Yes, I would say her success odds on trying a rape case as an American contractor in Iraq would be...spotty at best.

Read what the amendment says, not what the media-ready sound bites claim.

It's not about justice for her, or protection for rape victims. It's about being able to file civil suits for sexual harassment and allowing lawyers to get a nice out of court settlement.

Spot on.

Corollary: Why won't the Democrats tout tort reform as a way of ending the expensive practice of defensive medicine...?

Okay, you win; I admit you're the more stupid.

I'm sorry I was so slow to recognize it...

The thread title and OP, now THAT's closer to ad Hominem than any of my manly jabs at an old "friend" for lack of a better word...

This is when Karen will rush in to point out that the Republican party is the party of women's rights.

She should show up immediately after our two Marines Without Honor™ (Crisco and Vetteman) get finished assertin' the God-given right of soldiers, sailors, Marines and contractors to rape female civilians in times of war without fear of reprisal or consequence.

War is hell, y'know?

Yeah, I'm waiting for the "She signed a contract, she shouldn't whine about it after!"

But blessedly, most of that is on ignore because I have heard it before and I don't need to hear it again.

For all I know it's happened in this thread 15 times already. Blessedly I've missed it if so.

Too bad she didn't sign a contract guaranteeing a half million dollar bonus, based on her performance from two years back.

We must always remember, social contracts are not binding in court.
