Since the Republicans all (or at least most) believe that the ACA will be a disaster; isn’t their best strategy to, voice their opposition, and let it go into effect then run once AGAIN on repealing it? Then they should easily take the Senate in 2014 and the presidency in 2016.

I am really stunned by their statesmanship and altruism for trying to stop the ACA before it goes into effect and harms countless millions.

Woof!

Just think of it as budget cuts.
WOOF!

They gotta run for re-election, and the Obama Prison Bitch Platform offers little appeal to GOP voters. Liberals like prison bitch.

The problem is that when people are on obamacare, it will be another entitlement. As anyone knows here in the US, as soon as people get things for free, they will not give them up.

This is the reason why the businesses got a year delay and the individuals did not. The quicker they can get them under their obamacare thumb and involved in the collective, the harder it will be to stop or repeal it.

Democrats are very aware of this....the plan the whole time.

I think you are missing the point. Single Payer would be an entitlement. That is why that came off the table. Making people pay, because healthcare is a unique commodity in that you will of necessity consume it just by virtue of being alive, avoids it being an entitlement.

You mean they don't believe it will be a disaster?

But they said so. They couldn't be lying about it could they?

Woof!

Except it's not an entitlement.

The reason businesses got a year delay was to give them enough time to be able comply.

This has nothing to do with any collective.

Do you ever get tired of being wrong? Just curious.

You don't get it, man! They're afraid it will work! You see, we get the thin end of the spike in here, the bare beginnings of social democracy, weak solution, the first hit's free, people get hooked; it's the hard stuff next, the Canuckistan Red, pure single-payer; and soon we're speedballing a cocktail of redistributive taxes and inflation-adjusted living-minimum wages and government job programs and labor-friendly legislation and worker's-coop businesses; and before you know it, America is being run like Sweden!*

*(BTW, if that means we have to have a King, dibs.)

Oh I get it, or get what they say; that it will be a disaster and the US will be laid waste like the bankrupt wind swept wastes of the likes of Germany and Sweden.

In which case; step back and swoop in, in 2014/2016 with a mandate to repeal the damn thing???

(the French already offered you one of their spare ones....you turned them down....lucky escape)
