That pretty much sums up the corruption. Georgia State representative Gerald Greene (R) was shot behind a local adult store while carrying a bag with thousands of dollars of American Red Cross money which was supposed to go to people in his district who were recently on the receiving end of severe storms which had gone through the area.
Geene said he was on his way to a local liquor store to buy lottery tickets when he was accosted behind the adult store. The man demanded money then shot Greene in the leg but left without taking anything. Greene then proceeded to the store to buy his lottery tickets.
That's his story and he's sticking to it.
