The use of the Report Thread link on threads is currently being heavily used in an attempt to let the editors of stories know that they have threads to approve. The problem with this is that story editors don't receive these reports, so they can't do anything about the issue. A better solution is to contact the editor, using the editor's profile page, accessible by clicking on the editor's name link.

Tried that first; Didn't work.

An even-better solution would be to put those stories up for adoption by editors who would be active, &/or apt to approve those threads, rather than letting them sit.

The stories have not been posted on the Adoption thread. So, post stories where threads haven't been accepted or denied for over a month, and the moderators can look into fixing the problem. This has been the procedure for over 5 years now.

Parents can put their children up for adoption, but if writers/editors were that active with their stories, their stories would have no need to be adopted.

Perhaps whoever puts stories in the "Adopt-able" list needs to do so for those stories.
