i found a long time ago that the only way to stop them was to unsubscribe to all threads. now when i log on, i immediately do a search of my own name, and all the threads i have posted in will come up, with the most recent responses at the top. it's been working quite well, and i don't have to constantly be emptying my e-mail account. does that sound too complicated?
