actually, being here and keeping myself up until I can't keep my eyes open, keeps me from thinking about how much I miss my mother. I had had all kinds of anxiety attacks about her coming to visit and it was all for naught, well maybe it wasn't, but it wasn't for the reason I had thought it was going to be. I know that sounds very convoluted but the sense is in there. we actually had the best time that we have had in a very long time. got things out in the open. lots of things resolved. that was all very good...but the flip side is that this was the hardest parting from her that I have had in many years. and just this much typing about it is making my throat hurt. i just keep pushing it to the back of my mind...but it's hard. sorry that was probably too much information.

Actually not too much information. Treasure the time you have with her here. It has taken me two years and a new cell phone to finally not have my mom's number on speed dial. She died a little over two years ago. I am glad you had a pleasant visit. May you have many more of them.
