I usually push the spoon all the way to the bottom and then swirl it around against the walls of the cup. Would that be a proper technique?

Very proper! I hit the spoon side way, and wiped it real hard and quick, till it formed a whirlpool, then I watct it,...

I then pull the spoon out and touch it's tip against the rim of the cup and let the last drop run back into the cup. Is it not exciting to watch the pooling fluid in the cup?
