That's a wonderful kidlet. A kidlet got in bid trouble last night. First for blatantly ingnoring what I told him and then immediately lieing about it. First a long talk from me, then another on from his mother when I told him to tell her what he did. A good three way conversation. That's the way it should be, isn't it?

I called my insurance and they told me to call his and have them pay....so that I don't have to pay any money out of my pocket and then wait for my money back. I am waiting for an adjuster to call me, so far I haven't heard from anyone. But if I show the adjuster the preliminary estimate, what if it costs more?

Yes it is. And he is now at the age where he will try lying more and more. It's not a fun stage I can tell you. Was he punished?

Not at the time. We were walking by a puddle of oil and I told him not to step in it. He turn around walked over to it and stomped in it. Then said it was an accident and he was already there by the time I said it.

I sat him down right there and told him she should get a spanking and had a ten minute talk about it. When his mother got here that same talk happened again.

Should I have spanked him instead?
