Unfortunately I am not an insomniac.... this is far later than I am normally up on a work night.

Doesn't it classify as 'no life'?

I'm currently off work for a few more weeks. I asked the doc for a few days, he wanted 6 weeks, I talked him down to 2, then he wrote it for 4 weeks. Don't you think that's a long time to be off?

Well.... it depends.... on if you are enjoying yourself or not. Last summer I was off for two months, then again it was a matter of use my vacation time or loose it. So I packed up my kid and we went to England for most of it.

That sounds terribly indulgent does it?

Sounds like fun. I was off for 7 weeks last year. Isn't that a lot to ask from an employer?

Not if you having it coming to you. As it stands right now, I have 200 sick hours at my disposal and 130 vacation hours. There comes a point where you either take it or lose it. I'd rather take it, wouldn't you?
 
Wouldn't that be silly to loss the time?

All the other times last year I was in pretty bad shape, but had the time and still could take my vacation weeks. This time I barely have enough hours to cover me until the short-term disability kicks in.
 
Will you be on tomorrow night then?

Its my pumpkin time, and as much fun as I am having, if I do not head to bed soon, my poor boss with have a frazled clipped me tomorrow.

What are of MI are you from? Answer that, though, tomorrow :)
