Ever had any?

I only have had the kind where it seemed that it would pick up where I left off and that would be, at best, 4 nights worth together.

I think it is an extreamly interesting subject.

Yep. They usualy happen when something big is going to happen. I have dreams acting out what I keep fearing might be the worse case scenerio. They usualy go away after whatever it is I'm worrying about happens.

That is exactly why I am interested in this subject. It is like our fears manifest themselves in our dreams at times.
I hope this thread helps to show any trends as to the other reasons why people have this occur.

Do you ever find that they directly effect your preformance in the situation in question? I mean, do they make you more nervous or do you feel that is is sort of a stress relief?
For me, it was very stressful to under go, especially because of the imagery. Mine was a movie style nightmare that kept going and going.... I nearly lost my shit.
It had no relivance to my life.

I know what you mean by the fact that you interpret something that you know in RL isn't a big deal, as something else, and it leads to all sorts of emotions that are displaced in the particular event. That is a strange feeling but I totally relate.

They're usualy good for me overall. Kind of a way for me to get over/used to the worst possible outcomes. I usualy feel better after waking up from them. Haven't had a reocurring dream since earlier this year right before my break up though.
