Removing hair...

So I shaved my legs and crotch a few days back, and it burned my skin big time! So now I am thinking of just having a professional wax at least the most sensitive spots. I also want to get ride of the hair around my anus. I was planning on calling some salons to see if they would wax that area for guys. I guess my question is in the terminology. Do I ask for a Brazilian wax or is there another name more appropriate for those areas...

I find a straight razor works well.... but its a bit of a developed skill....

brazillian will wax everything covered by a pair of briefs. I started getting waxed not long ago (just had my second session yesterday). When I was looking I simply called and asked if they do body waxing on men and if they do intimate areas. Most salons said no. Day spas that do waxing I got more positive answers from, and I went with one of those. Once I was setting up the appointment I just told her that I wanted my back and butt waxed, and that was it. Also, it didn't hurt as bad as I thought it would, and the second time was better.

This is a pretty good overview of male waxing.

When you call places, ask if they do male brazilian waxing, and if so, what it costs, how much experience their technicians have doing this type of waxing, and any other questions you might have.

By the time your hair is long enough to be waxed, you should be set!
