I went to completely remove a file from the drafts folder and start over. I'm not sure how the "remove file" button works - do I have to have the file title in the field to the left?

Thank you for your help in advance.

Dunno, but how about Select All, then Cut? Just leave a placeholder word or two. When you finish whatever work you need, you could paste it back in later.

Yes, I was considering that too. I thought there was a more straightforward way to do it; the programming can't be that complicated.

Do you mean the drafted story under "Pending?"

On that story file, to the right of it there's an icon that look like a pen, next to a gear symbol.

If you click that somewhere it'll give you an option of deleting it I think.

If it is a "Draft" and not "Pending" you don't have to do anything to it. You can simply overwrite it with your updated version when it's ready. If the story is in "Pending" status, then click to edit the story and it will be kicked back to your "Drafts" folder. A story can sit in your "Drafts" folder for years without affecting anything.
