Anyone help? Is there an easy way to remove a story that needs some more work on it? I'd appreciate any help. It doesn't seem to be easy at least. Thanks.

Start a new submission.
Use the same title as the original that you want to delete + add something like *DELETE*
Pick the same category and fill in keywords and such with placeholders, they don't matter.
In the story text and "notes" sections, say that you want to delete the original story/chapter.
Preview, then submit.
It can take the normal amount of time that a new story spends in the queue to happen, but edits and deletes do often happen faster than normal story approval, in my experience.

You can do one of two things
One you can edit it and then resubmit it with the changes in place by using the same title and everything as you did to submit it in the first place. Add edit next to the title and in the comments portion of the new submission. it will take about as long as the first submission did and you won't lose votes or comments.
Second, you can resubmit the story with remove next to the title and in the comment area. later you can resubmit but you will lose all votes and comments.
