remove pubic hair

Thanks for the idea of the Epilator. Never knew that existed.
I may have to obtain one of those, it might save me some cash on waxings.

I like to be clean shaven. As for guys, for the most part I don't care if they are trimmed or not, so long as they don't have a full forest growing around their cock and balls. When I go down on a guy the last thing I want is a bunch of hair in my mouth. It does not help with the gag reflex.

I don't completely remove my pubic hair. I just trim it back with my wahl hair clipper/trimmer set. I only do it whenever it start to look like a jungle down there lol

I would love to be lasered....it is costly, so right now I`m debating...put the $ out or put down new flooring in the family room....tough decision...lol

Go to an adult store and buy Cochy cream it works great for shaving below and facial hair too :)

has anyone tried that NoNo gadget that's being advertised on TB lately?

speaking esthetically, you need a very strong laser to remove the unwanted hair, some lasering machines will take only 6 treatments, which is excellent, and some will take far more, resulting a larger cash outlay...the no no I think will take a very long time to have professional results...but being a one time purchase and perciverence, it just may, I myself would love to be professionally done...

one of those electronic no nick mini head electric trimmers followed by a personal pubic shaver like the seiko clean cut or the body bare.

I saw that ad recently, and it looked interesting, but the Amazon reviews say it's a waste of money.

Costco also has a light-pulse(?) device for like $350 in the stores. I'd probably try that one first, since it did get good reviews and you can take stuff back there within a year if you're not happy with it, but the thing that stopped me from buying it was the small treatment surface. Yeah, I could do it while watching TV or something, but it'd still take a good amount of time to do the areas I'd like hair-free. I'm also seeing the light cartridges (which typically last for the legs, pits and bikini line) are like $45 each, so after you've used up the first 3 that come w/ the machine, every time you do most of your body hair, you're still plunking down a chunk of change. It's cheaper than waxing, especially if it really does give permanent results, but that's still pricey and it certainly takes far longer than waxing.

I'll stick with trimming, shaving, and having Hubby wax me until something really great comes out, thanks.

remember that dark hair is better than light hair or grey hair for permanent removal of unwanted hair...and each "good" lasering session will take a good hour anyhow...and first you must shave all areas that you would like to be totally hair free...then there are the rules, no tanning these spots..etc...

OUCH to the plucking...

on the fence

The wife waxes and I trim really close. Shaving for both of us ends up leaving bumps and ingrown hair. Was thinking about getting her laser treatment as a surprise. I love eating her out when she's smooth.

Has anybody tried the at home laser treatments?

Ive read one review that it made the womnan feel so good that she gave up going to get waxed, she just buys a new epilator every year or so now. However she still gets a "birthday" as a treat for herself.
Have those products improved in recent years? I had an Epilady in the early '90s. With repeated use, leg hair removal got to be pretty much pain-free, but I was dealing with ingrown hairs for almost a year after I stopped using the Epilady. I can't imagine using one on super-sensitive bits.

with any hair removal such as waxing, and sugaring, you should always use a loofa, you are susceptible to ingrown hairs...I remember my first epilady, many moons ago, tried it once, cried and never used it again, and it was so expensive!!

I have one that I use everywhere, even underarms, it works better than the one I had in the mid 90's and is less painful. Of course, the first time is the worst, it gets easier each time after that til it's just no big deal - but a lot of people seem to give up before that point. Then again I am a bit of a masochist and love a good endorphin rush.:D And I'm practically morally opposed to stubble so I'm highly motivated.

Tweezing, well if you use an epilator you'll want to have a good pair of tweezers to catch any that it misses, it will miss a few here or there.

Loofah is a good idea to help with ingrowns, I use one, and also if you really have trouble with ingrown hairs, in general or from hair removal, a body wash that contains salicylic acid can help - I have good luck with them, and if you can't find a body wash, shampoo with the same ingredient does the same job. (just make sure to keep it off of the more sensitive bits). It makes the loofah scrub even more effective.

Sounds like they've improved, then. :)

I actually liked my Epilady, for the most part--it was painful the first couple of times, but I got used to it pretty quickly. I went through two of them. The first one broke when I got the hair on my head caught in it.

My hubby uses beard clippers up top and around the shaft s. He does shave his balls and below tho with a razor as I love sucking on them as will as licking and sucking his taint

He's one lucky man.

I use a razor as well. It takes a little bit of practice but as long as your skin is taut, the razor glides pretty smoothly. It takes a little tugging here and there but as long as you've got some sort of shaving gel on there, it's a cakewalk.

And I do enjoy that freshly shaven bald feel of having my balls smooth too.:)

i shave everything, usually every other day to make sure i stay silky smooth
