I have no experience with these devices. However, there may be some valid technical reasons as to why your plans won't work. My primary concern centers around the controller. Most of these sort of devices are probably RF based and work on the same frequency. If thats the case, then one controller will make both vibes operate. Another issue will be range. The controller cannot put out a lot of power. Probably in the 100mw or less range. Range may be limited to as little as 15 or so feet.

It is also possible that the vibes are controlled ultrasonically, like the first tv remotes. In which case the vibes may come alive in response to other noises, ie a band in a club, a squeaky door etc...

The most common form of remote control today is coded infra-red pulses. You'd notice if the controller is an infra-red controller by spotting a small window or bubble near the top of the controller. I don't believe these devices are infra-red as they would need to pass through clothing in order to work. Surprisingly enough, clothing can be an effective barrier for any optically based controller. This is also the reason why I believe these are probably RF controlled.

As to your plans to try to sleep with both of them. If I were you, I would definitely talk with your girlfriend about it, posing it as a "Suppose this happened..." type of question to gauge her reaction. Who knows, she might even be all for it. On the other hand, if you surprise her completely out of the blue, you stand a pretty good chance of (a) ending up with a case of blue balls and (b) having a major fight with your girlfriend.

the oyster site advertizes that they can tell each other apart. Yes indeed they are RF devices, I would be suprized if the transmiter were >100mW. you are probably right in that the range may be a limiting factor.

I will have to talk with my girlfirend about this. What makes me so curious is that is that she suggested that we get her friend into the picture. What I think is going on is that her friend is somewhat jelous, not of our relationship or of me. But, just the fact that we spend so much time pleasing each other.
