My idea was more that she finds some friend with benefits who is good with the idea of being involved and video streamed with me on the other end of the stream. Rather than a strict script, i would like to keep it more freeform and organic so everyone could express themselves and follow their sexual instincts.

Mmm, yes focusing on the remote sex toys aspect would definitely suggest that is the way to go - I also believe there is a lot of eroticism to be had in the streaming aspect of the scenario - both from both a voyeuristic & exhibitionist side - the sexually arousing sight of watching/hearing/participating in your lover being excited to orgasm by another.
