Go read Here first.

Then here

Finally go here for the wrap up on the story.

If you don't want to read all the multiple pages of posts just read the first couple pages from the first two URL's then the last url.

I have just about read through both threads now and that plus what I have heard from other people leads me to belive that this is the real deal.

They have a dyno for things like these.

Admittedly I have a mate of mine who works in a HOT shop as such, including race engines etc that have to be tested like that, owners have to sign a disclaimer.

Personally if it was my baby, I wouldnt have anyone test drive without me in the car... and have done that before.

Bump cause someone has to be interested in this.

I haven't read the links yet but will in a minute...

I used to own a little convertable turbo charged sports car, and it was at the mechanics being serviced. For some reason there seemed to be delay after delay, every time I rang I was given another story as to why I couldn't pick it up yet.....I hadn't given it a lot of thought (these things happen) until I started getting phone calls from friends asking who the man was that was driving my car at high speeds in another suburb.....

Boy did I flip! One of the mechanics had been using my car to get to and from work in - to show off to his girlfriend. He even managed to fit a trip to the coast in it, I know this because I recieved a speeding ticket in the mail complete with photo of the mechanic and a few mates hooning down the highway at 80 kilometres an hour over the speed limit.

Nope.

Mazda MX5

As far as I know RX7's didn't come in a convertable.

I also used to have a Capri Turbo convertable too........

Rx-7s did come in convertabile form but I don't know if the Turbo RX-7 came as a convertiable.

my old Mustang is lucky to hit 100, and the pickup won't get near that. not to mention I can fix them myself. So I have no worries about this kind of thing.
