Remember when Rightguide whined "The California fast food market is collapsing!" Yeah, about that...

Nope. Never claimed to be upset. I shared data about pricing and employment in CA’s fast food industry since the minimum wage was raised. I’m fine with it. I don’t live there and rarely eat fast food anyway. The data I shared has obviously raised your hackles and I’m fine with that too. Cheers.

Poor BabyBoom. He didn’t get away with pretending the California fast food industry lost a lot of employment because of a minimum wage increase, and it made him grumpy.

0.42 is such a tiny number.

Lol. Look, it’s just the data. You keep harping on it. At some point you really should relax and let go of it. I’ll let you carry on with it if you want.

Why are ex-Californians so hurt that they are no longer able to afford to live there?

Is it? Your comment in this thread:

Anyway, the fast food industry that you apparently are obsessed with is alive and well in California. 👍
Which is a 100% true statement. A simple search reveals the following:

Since California's fast-food minimum wage increased from $16 to $20 per hour on April 1, 2024, the state has experienced a notable rise in fast-food restaurant closures. According to data compiled from Google Maps, there were 1,355 permanently closed fast-food restaurants as of August 2024, up from 315 prior to the wage increase. This indicates that approximately 1,040 additional closures occurred following the wage hike, representing a 330% increase in closures over that period .New York Post+3Snappy+3ABC10+3

Overall, the impact of the minimum wage increase on fast-food restaurant closures in California is significant, with over a thousand additional closures reported in the months following the policy change. It's very likely that those 91 new openings you mentioned are probably highly automated with fewer full-time employees.

Prices up, employment down, restaurants closing. Who could have possibly predicted that? 😂

The number of fast food restaurants in California has increased since the new minimum wage was enacted, as I stated above.

Still pretending that 0.42 jobs is significant? All MAGAs have is pretense.

And stop pretending that the number of fast food restaurants went down. Pretending is dumb.

“Who could have possibly predicted” that MAGA sheep would pretend something bad happened in California?? 😄

Then you can see why they are done with the Democrats' lies and excuses.
I'm not following you? Did you mean done with exercise? Obviously they need it, if they think Democrats lie about the benefits of exercise and eating healthy, well that's not Democrats problem now is it?

By a tiny amount compared to those initially forced out of business by the wage increase.

You can’t actually be that dense. Or maybe you can? 😆

The number of fast food restaurants in California is higher after the minimum wage increase than before the minimum wage increase.

16,000 useful important federal jobs lost is good.

16,000 low paying entry level jobs lost is bad.

🤷🏻‍♂️
They tend to get that way when it’s a “food” staple of theirs.

Need to blame someone since their Orange-Jesus has bent them over completely.

People doing physical work all day and struggling to stay upright at the end do more than a healthy amount of exercise. "Eating healthy" may also be hilarious to name tag workers. After a grueling shift every day for subsistence wages, they eat as well as they can afford with whatever endurance they have left for cooking.
Going to tie that into your remarks about Democrats? Or just move the goal posts with more nonsensical blather?
