Remember text entry preferences

Would it be possible to modify the comment box that messages like this one are typed in so that they remember certain preferences? We have a small selection of fonts available, and I prefer Book Antiqua (or serif fonts generally), but people complain that its default size is much smaller than other fonts. I suppose that's a device issue (phone vs. desktop) and not easily addressable. I thought that simply bumping the size up a notch or two might be an acceptable compromise, but it's already a bit of a chore to have to select a preferred alternate font for each comment, so it would be a great relief if I could simply set both a font and a font size and have them remembered wherever I go in the forums.
