I went to a music festival yesterday, Broccoli City in DC. Ended up standing next to 2 young Latina lesbian couples. Generally, I view Latina women as being demur. In this case there was one "butch" lesbian and her girlfriend. Whenever "butch" girl tried to get a kiss the other girl would turn her head. She seemed really reluctant to participate. Butch kept her arm around her, but the girl wouldn't reciprocate. I really wonder how/why they got together. What was going on?

I realize there are a lot of stories along these lines, and several of them were running through my mind (With Strings Attached for example). This is definitely a story idea with legs.
