Just a little thought that struck me today when I saw that the God Squad had been posting again - do you think that the religious crusaders who put those messages up have a sneaky look at the stories on Lit while they're at it?

I can just imagine it now - lots of people sitting down together in sensible clothes and discussing how to save the world. Then one person mumbles something about a filthy website they've heard about, but never seen. A few others also claim to have heard of Literotica, despite never having set eyes on the site itself. The brethren exchange worried glances and then pass a resolution to convert all the smutty little sinners in the AH. Of course, there probably isn't any shortage of volunteers ;)

The only question I have in the back of my mind is this - I'm in the middle of a particuarly lurid story at the moment, involving some hardcore lesbian action. Does anyone know of any religious bulletin boards where I could post it, to repay the favour, as it were?

You
are
incorrigible.........

keep it up.

Wicked girl.

 :D :rose:

You will only get yourself, or this board in trouble, matriarch.

Can you imagine the short shrift we would get if we approached any public media about being harassed by Fundies posting their wacko messages on our board?

Alternately, one single post of even a questionable nature, especially one involving unacceptable alternate lifestyles, would be all that is needed to start a Fundie Jihad against Literotica.

If a Fundie Jihad means more readers, I say BRING IT ON! :D

Have you read what Fundies read into Teletubbies?

They would not so much be a readership, as they would be readversaries!

No! What did they read into teletubbies??? I heard that they hated Harry Potter, because according to them, it encouraged children to dabble in the dark arts. Not quite sure why this made them so afraid - were they worried that suddenly children would be flying round on broomsticks, or petrifying anyone who annoyed them?

Jerry Falwell Launches Attack On 'Teletubby'

Apparently, Falwell’s kvetch is that Tinky Winky is not only gay, but has come out of the closet and is openly gay.

Me? I think it’s a case of too much sacro-shitfaced wine.

Wow! It would take quite a dirty, not to mention screwed up, little mind to come out with an accusation like that! I didn't even know Tinky Winky was a boy! I thought all the teletubbies were sexless.

Yes!

They gather in public groups to dismiss the awfulness of the smut, and then at night, alone, they lock all their doors, turn off all the lights, drag their wireless lap top into the bathroom with loads of religious liniment, lock that door, and then read the most lurid of tales while engaging in some filthy self-pleasure.

Ick. Religious wanking.

BTW: Did you read further down the column into the next story under that citing? Did you read the article on the justification for stoning?

When I encountered that little beauty, I thought I had accidentally accessed The Onion.

Not only is Tinky Winky gay (he carries a "bag", which sort of looks like a purse), but also Bert and Ernie on Sesame Street are also an openly gay couple.

Not only is Jerry Falwell a fool, he doesn't mind puting his foolishness on display. He claims that Tinky Winky is gay because he is purple and has a triangular antenna on his head.

Where has the God Squad been posting? I haven't seen anything on this forum about it.

It sounded, from Scheherazade's post, that some of the PC's were God Squad ones. Is that what you were saying, Scheherazade?

cantdog

The "God squad" can be pretty annoying. Especially when one of their members is one of your friends. Or shall I say, used to be one of my friends.

They try to hard to convert you and push their ideals into your head. Its as if they are in a missionary position.

But this is a porn board, and there is only one missionary position that should be discussed here!

I think Laurel must have deleted it. It wasn't even all that imaginative - just a link entitled "something nice" (or similar) that took you to a website oozing with Biblical verse. I checked it out in the hope it would have a bulletin board to post some stories, but alas, there was none. :(
