I would like to question Laurel and Manu, if they actually typed the full message to me, without the use of AI or using a ready made formatted reply

Sorry to hear about your frustrations.

1) A ready made message is not the same as using AI.

2) Grammar correction tools which change wording etc in any significant way are not allowed. I understand why that might frustrate you, but no one with any influence on that rule is gonna come here to discuss it.

3) There is a general problem these days with some stories getting stuck for a long time before getting published or rejected. It is not known why.
Theoretically rejections for AI/tool use take longer, because someone is actually looking at them instead of them just being auto-rejected. But again, we don't actually know.

4) You may be able to find help here AwkwardMD AI Rejection Help Desk
To figure out how to possibly get your story published.

Good luck :)

Thanks, I really have been frustrated with this, my use of certain things is just to help with minor punctuations as I write my stories on my mobile and not on a laptop. I'll try and reach out to that link.

There are a dozen or so generic responses, one for each of the basic reasons for rejection. They're usually in the form of questions, but won't point to any specific section of your content.

Your screenshot suggests you pulled your draft back for some reason. Have you tried resubmitting?

AI? This reminds me of when someone called a simple Python script that would work as a spell checker as AI. This has more in common with a form letter than anything else, and those predate computers, let alone AI
