Rejection, obstacles, challenges

Kibble cookies? I don't know...maybe.

I don't let things that I can't change (or things that others can't change) bother me. What I mean by that is, if it's a normal turn of events or if it's not manufactured by someone for a specific result, I understand and can live with it, although I might not really enjoy it.

But, if someone falsifies the facts, or otherwise skews something to make the situation seem worse or more in their favor, I can get pretty hot. I can live with my own failure or my own mistakes. But when someone makes it look like I've failed or made a mistake to force me into some kind of submissive position, I come out fighting.

And it's worse when this person is my boss and anything I say or do would be seen by his boss as "just complaining" about getting singled out for my failure or mistake, I lose all respect for the person who fabricated the facts. But it happens all the time in the business world.

Bosses don't like individuals in the work place. They basically want happy robots that do their job, and never complain about anything. So skewing facts can be useful tools in gaining leverage, especially in a weak economy, when jobs are hard to come by.
