Hi. I used to be called "The Writing Group".

Here's the thing: it was a joke, originally. I thought it would be fun as a sort of prank. I created four personae, I had eight stories already written. I would pump them out in the four authorial voices, play around a bit, then I had a big jokey reveal planned, where there was a metastory about the four realizing they were fictional characters. I would do the big reveal a few months after creating the account.

Except ... I turn out to be a slow writer. After those first eight stories, I nearly stalled out, and the whole framing story of four writers never got written, because I was struggling too hard to get the actual stories out. Then, eventually, I abandoned the pretense of being four people here on the forum, but I never did a reveal. And it nagged at me, because I never meant to deceive anyone. (I mentioned it to a couple of people in private conversations.) It was a writing exercise, and a joke, and both of those had just faded away.

So, hi, I'm just one person and always was. Pardon the weird user name, but so many good ones are taken on Literotica.

Still the same person posting, just a layer of (what was meant to be) playful imposture removed.

I get the feeling that there is a huge 'phew!' behind this post and I hope you're relieved you've left that initial premise and the four personae behind.

Interesting experiment. I never read your stories, but had the impression it was always the same person posting.

I've never done a name change here, are your stories all shifting to this name or they stay under the original?

They all say FromManyOne now. I didn't know until I did it, but that is what happened.

I didn't do a great job of making the personae write here in different styles, one reason I abandoned the pretense a year or so ago. If you look back to 2025, you'll find me signing the posts as "Annie" or "Rocco".

I kinda figured out long ago you were the same person. The posts sounded too similar regardless of who signed themselves, and after a while "you all" stopped signing yourself anyway.

Anyway, no penance needed. You are hardly the only one who presented as someone else. It was all benign. So once again, welcome.

I recall the Annie/Rocco

One thing that has always surprised me over the years here is how a group of people who create characters and strive to write in different voices and POV have never picked up on the most blatant alts here, especially the ones who -unlike you- are seriously catfishing and pretending to be something they're not. Maybe people do a lot of 'face value' type observation and my background just always has me observing in greater detail.
