Reign of Fire

It's an alright movie, but I don't want to say what I think yet without spoiling anything for ya. :)

Spoiler: At the end Matthew McConehay's career dies.

Edit: I mean beginning

Edit 2: I mean when he signed on.

I loved that movie! I am all set to buy it so I can put it in rotation.

Matt McAugh..however that's spelt is that movie. All over-the-top and fun, fun, funny.

Just saw it last weekend, roomate rented it. was good, but I wish I'd seen it in the theatre, most of the scenes were dark, and hard to cope with on a small-ish TV.

What I want to know is where did they get the WWII Dodge Power Wagons used in the beginning of the movie? Any of them we would have left over in Europe after the war would surely have rusted away by the year 2020.

I was glad to see they didn't complicate the film by devoting half of it to a love story, I loved the scene where the kids are watching a re-inactment of the "Luke, I'm your Father" scene, and think they did a good job on the design of the dragons. They also did a good job reducing London to a pile of rubble.

I liked the movie. I just bought it tonight, actually. It wasn't as good as I remember it being in the theatre. Oh well, it was worth it to see Mathew Maconahey's, (sp?), body all sweaty and tattooed, and....well I'll stop there. Oh yeah, can't forget his voice!!! I wasn't just interested in his body. I thought the effects were awesome. I loved the way they used the fire. Anyways, if you haven't seen it, I suggest renting it. Good movie!

oh please. an anchient dragon being taken out by a non-magical weapon? sorry, i don't buy it. anchient dragons of any kind take a bit more than that to bite the dust. i don't fucking care if the thing's "magnesium-tipped" or whatever.

This movie look interesting. I've been meaning to check it out. At least some of the previews look good.

I am not sure, might re watch it later tonight. but I expected it to be a little more fantasy like. I guess cause I was hopping it would be a little like the book "Wizard's First Rule" that I'm reading.

Well it couldn't have been worse that D&D the movie.
I wanted to shoot myself after that attrocity.

It looked like an interesting concept. Maybe I'll rent it anyways.
Thanks for the heads up guys

Really. I was very dissapointed. They could have done so much more with the story then they did.

It has Marlon Waynes in it...made a few years ago...

But I was disapointed with it to a certain extent...but at times it's pretty cool.

what D&D movies? bf is big into RPGs
It's a movie that came out a few years ago.
Jeremy Irons is in it. He plays the bad guy. Other wise a bunch of unknown actors. It would have been better if it wasn't so "over the top".
If your bf was big into RPG's then he might like it. Not the best movie to watch. The First Knight was better by far IMHO.
