Beats me - is using HTTP to link to other public sites illegal? It is an open protocol for sharing information on the World Wide Web.
Maybe they are getting stick regarding some of the posts that fly close to the edge.

Of course it isn't, but, it's not about legality, though. It's about Lit's unstated rules.

What edge? They either haven't said, or, they're stating the guidelines in a way that doesn't clearly differentiate the removed threads from the ones they allow to remain, while silently interpreting them in a way which somehow does.

An edge example:

There have been some posts that have linked to some large corporate web sites advertising pages. This could piss of some people with a lot of financial clout - they do not want their brand associated with LIT.

I used to be very hung up on a woman's looks. Media had convinced me that only a certain type was hot.
