I'm home!

Took us 11.5 hours to get here, and it would have been quicker if there weren't massive construction in MD and NJ, plus an accident in NJ.
Welcome home RJ...cute AV ...I like the little guy...and the seal too:D

Hello everyone. Just a quick peek in before heading out for supper. Fish is on the menu tonight. Lately I've been craving it so that's what I want this evening.

The son is blasting away on a new instrument. He's starting to learn the Bass Clarinet. The cats do not like the low notes and are hiding from this evil.

LOL. Tell him that 'blasting' is not appropriate for woodwind. Save that for the brass. ;)

Playing woodwind is like making love to a woman, you've got to caress the music out of her. You can them play hard, but only with passion and soul. If he learns the right technique, she'll sing gloriously.

Well, he's 14, so no lovemakin' here for him. lol

I assigned another immunity to another Lit. category, though honestly I'm just not feeling the love for writing at this moment.

I know what you mean RED but there have been times (and hoping they start later today) where I have just put myself down in front of the computer and started to write and out it came. Write when you feel though, that's the difference between us - I have little choice.

Kissing is the best analogy. Trust me, I married a clarinet player

Yes, because 'stroking pussy' is a bit too close to the other definition ... :D

We have no clarinet players, but we do have piano, flute, double bass, violin, percussion and the ubiquitous recorder.

Lol...actually no...I only played in marching band and wind ensemble...not my HS jazz band.

Farewell

Goodbye little red room. :(

It's time for Jett to go. We've had some fun times here, haven't we. Jett gives everything a little dust over, leaves some roses in a vase on the counter and switches off the light.

Hugs and best wishes to Red and friends. Thanks for everything.

Jett

No idea why Jett is leaving, but here I am, wishing him well in future times.

Yesterday, my mother J passed peacefully in her sleep. She is now at rest and enjoying the pleasure of those loved ones that have gone before her.

I took just a few moments yesterday to say a prayer then went on with my day. I wanted normalcy. Today, I am better, this after spending the morning cleaning out her house. Christ, what a pack-rat. Estate sale!!

My condolences RJ.

Likely many of those things meant something to her, but little to many others. I am going to reduce some of my own stuff primairly for that purpose.
