Well folks it's back to work today. After having the last four days off I'm ready for the peacefulness that comes with the drive (until I hit the city). :rolleyes:

The daughter will be landing soon and then has a 5 hour layover until she hops on her third and final plane for two weeks. :)

I did remember the question and I believe that I asked it in the thread RED. I can't seem to locate the June Immunity thread and even a search doesn't bring it up.

Things in my life are about to change, as regards the apartment. I won't say much more than that but had good news yesterday.

Not since yesterday when she was boarding the plane from Dallas to Santiago, Chile. I probably won't hear from her for a couple of days, depending on internet connections in the village where they're staying.

How are you and yours?

Oh today was the big 1st grade end if the year picnic. Kids had a blast. My Costco cake was a hit. I wish I had leftovers. I'm tired I did a lot of running after kids.

We've got a Costco being built about 45 min. from us, curious if they are just an over-glorified Sam's Club or not.

I have to make a BIG cake for my Aunt's surprise birthday party. My mom is throwing her one on Saturday.

I like Costco better IMO. I had memberships to both. It's where you shop.

Nah, not that big. Probably a couple of layers though, which is big enough. I'm not sure how I'm decorating it. I know I'm not putting her age on there, since my mom is calling this a "celebration of life"... not a birthday party. :rolleyes:
 
When my mom turned 80 last summer I wrote a list of "you know you are 80 when" jokes....she has a great sense of humour and laughed thank God....
I also had a fire extinguisher handy for the amount of candles on her cake.

I did the fire extinguisher thing when our good friend turned 40. He was supposed to "pay me back", but he wasn't around when I turned 40 this year and I don't think he's remembered. :D

Shit. I need to give someone some form of Hell. I did 51 last month with no cake. I think I did do ice cream though.
